Kept trying to deflect the thoughts

that churned inside my head…

I’m trying to convince myself

that we can be just friends…

No matter what I try to do

the longing never ends…

I just can’t seem to run away

no matter how I try…

When saying that there’s nothing there

I know it’s just a lie…

So what am I supposed to do?

Where do I go from here? …
