Stop The Madness



The stores are closed
our homes for sale
we sink into the mire

The credit cards
are all maxed out
our situation dire

Our college grads
so much in debt
and many have no jobs

Our very best
who once stood proud
now work with cleaning swabs

Awake oh Giant
come to life
let's stop the madness now

We have to find
a better way
and bring us back somehow
