So many years have come and gone

since last I saw your face

The wounds you placed within my heart   

are scars I can't erase

For years I tried to understand

just why you let me down

I wondered  what was in your mind

and why you fooled around

There is no anger anymore

the time has eased my pain

You've always been a part of me

in loss or when I gained

Oh Jenny I believe you're near

I sense you more and more

I know that you are waiting dear

to see me through the door

Oh what will we become my dear

when both our spirits free?

Will we be lovers as before
