JeDonne

How beautiful you look tonight
against the setting sun
No greater vision have I seen
so lovely my JeDonne

A golden silhouette I see
now captured for all time
Like photographs we look back on
forever in my mind

An artist would give all to see
what I behold right now
He'd know it was a masterpiece
if he could paint somehow

JeDonne it seems the sun now waits
refusing to depart
How glorious and wonderful
you even stole his heart

  1. Jon, this poem moves me. Thank you for your romanticism and for taking the time to transcribe the language of your heart for us to see.
