A Broken Family

For many months we’ve grown apart
we’re not where we should be
Inflicting wounds at every turn
a broken family

Each day another raging storm
we both look at the door
Barrage of accusations made
the fabric rips some more

Our souls are wounded deep inside
a crack can now be seen
There isn’t very much that’s left
this all seems so obscene

We’ve got to try and work this out
I know that love’s still there
We’ve got too much invested now
I know we both still care

"If each is willing to forgive then time heals all wounds. There are too many broken homes and broken hearts. Reach out to each other. Good poem
