Night Of A Thousand Starry Stars

Summer nights underneath the telling stars
Watching our dreams take flight as I look into your eyes
Time stands still the world disappears there is only you and I

Lovers lips commune and passion's flame unleashed
Our racing hearts entwined a perfect melody
Fate and destiny collide our path begins toward eternity

You trace me a star in the twilight with the brush of your hand
I need no words to understand the urgency of your command
I awaken my dreams underneath the night of a thousand starry stars

When you're young and in love, time DOES seem to stand still. The future is not even considered. Really like the idea of tacing a "star in the twilight with a brush of your hand." Vie and Jon, you did a superb job on this poem!! Love, Carolyn
