I couldn't see the road ahead

or how it'd all work out...

In time I had to make a choice

though filled with fears and doubt...

The early years were filled with dreams

the stars were mine to grasp...

As time wore on and seasons changed

they disappeared so fast...

I wandered in and out of love

adrift out on the seas...

The disappointments wore me down 

and drove me to my knees...

In time I found my place in life

someone who touched my heart...

The moment you declared your love

I felt the pain depart...
