I'm coming home to yesterday

I've been away too long...

Forgive me please I beg of you

I'm not where I belong...

 

Somehow I drifted from my dreams

was swept far out to sea...

Lost focus on important things

and what they meant to me...

 

I used to laugh and sing my songs

somewhere the music stopped...

I compromised too many times

it's not how I was taught...

 

Please welcome me with open arms

my old familiar friend...

Repair the damage to my soul
