Ships adorned with great white sails
approach the shallow cove
Strangers from a far off land
their hunt, a
treasure trove
Morning light they come ashore
their prey soon overcome
Families bound in heavy chains
their horrors just begun
Broken hearts and untold pain
their weeping never ends
Whips that tear the flesh apart
while many prayers ascend
What madness can account for this
and who shall recompense?
How can people be so cruel
with vial ambivalence?
