Each Day I Hope

Oh how I long to hold you close

and open up my heart 

To share with you so many things

and never be apart

I've dreamt of you so many times

and watched you from afar

A longing deep within my soul

you are my shining star

Each day I hope you'll notice me

but disappointment rains

I gather strenth within my heart

and pray to ease this pain

Oh surely there's a purpose here

a reason to believe

I'll go to sleep again tonight

and dream you're here with me
