Sweet Amy

Sweet Amy….it’s now time
to set each other free…
For too long we have hurt
and chosen not to see

Running from each other
then standing face to face
Each day we hurt some more
  here in this wretched place

You couldn't close your heart
I couldn’t let you go
                      We couldn’t cross the line
I guess we'll never know

  4. It seems you guys care for one another still, but sometimes it just doesn't work out. I'm sure you hope the best for her, and her for you. I can only imagine the heartache, but tearing one another down does no good either. Good write, and God bless you x

Congratulations, Jon, an honest piece...As I tell my husband when he uses your last line...But you likely will find out someday. Enjoyed your piece.
