Something In The Air

Southern winds are blowing strong

there’s something in the air…

Sounds of thunder fill the sky

and lightening everywhere…

Trees are swaying to and fro

and hail begins to fall…

Fear begins to take control

as loved ones start to call…

Please take shelter from the storm

there’s danger on the way!…

Open up the cellar doors

      where you should go and stay…

Hiding in my darkened room      

                       I swear I hear a train …                      

Holding on with all my strength

my house begins to strain…

precede a sudden calm...

A Flicker

So many years have passed me by

the memories fade away…

A flicker from a raging fire
